Established in 2012 by Robert Wilkinson, RED Talent Management has quickly become the Midlands’ premier actors and creatives agency, offering a personal and professional service, providing actors and creative talent for theatre, film, television, radio, and the corporate world. The agency can also help with putting teams together for the whole creative process, from writing through to development, casting and production.

With Tic Toc he also ran a business that promoted performers like Mike Myers, Frank Skinner, Lee Evans, Harry Enfield, Julian Clary, and many others at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Since 1991, Robert has been a freelancer working across all disciplines in the business, including The Cheeky Chappies, for which he writes and performs with his partner Paul Nolan. Robert has an MA in TV Scriptwriting from De Montfort University and is pursuing this avenue further. He is also chair of Live and Local, an Arts Council funded organisation promoting rural touring across seven Midlands counties.
Mandy Wilkinson – Director Finance and Admin
Mallory English – Associate Agent
She worked as production assistant for short film ‘The Writer’ (2012) and as first AD on the University of Birmingham’s ‘Day in the Life’ promo videos produced for YouTube, and as videographer at the Global Gathering Music Festival. Mallory joined the RED Talent team as in intern in 2014, brining with her a bucket load of enthusiasm, a love of actors and what they do, and a passion for film making, writing, comedy and television.
Thena Mimmack – Agent (London)
She then studied Philosophy at Bristol University, where she uncovered a curiosity for creative writing. Post graduation, Thena became part of the RED Talent team in 2016 where she was fortunate enough to experience and explore agency life. Being a keen and curious traveller, Thena has visited many countries across the world, however in 2017 she spent most the year teaching English in Madrid. Having returned, Thena is adamant to continue her previous work with RED, where she hopes to thrive in an industry that she loves best.
In the summer of 2015, the award winning Red Production Company made another landmark show “Danny and The Human Zoo”
A fictionalised TV film of Sir Lenny Henry’s life as a teenager in 1970s Dudley, it was a landmark for RED Talent too. Half of the actors in this production photo are from RED Talent. Taylia-May Campbell (far left) Trique Douglas (front left), Brenton Hamilton and Tyrese McKenzie (far right), and Kascion Franklin (front far right) in the title role. The cast also included RED actors Dayna Bateman, Richard Boland, Tom Briggs, Michael Crump, Tonia Daley Campbell, Jahni Dyer, Troy Hewitt, Marlene McKenzie and Kaine Zajaz. We also helped them find a Jazz Band, a ventriloquist, a magician, a mime artist and a contortionist, and the official choreographer on the film was our wonderful Sophie Abercrombie.
