Sara Bodinar

screenwriter – playwright – script editor
Sara Bodinar is an award-winning screenwriter and playwright. She has worked with film studios and theatres all over the world to create 30 + films and 20 + plays. Currently, she leads the Writers Room at Nottingham Playhouse Theatre, she’s an Honorary Research Fellow at the University of Nottingham, and she’s the writer-in-residence at both the Nottingham Actors Workshop and Writers Retreat UK. Plus she’s working on a number of different feature films for the London studio where she is a staff writer.
Over the past few years she has been involved with international Box Office hit films, editing for best-selling novelists, arts documentaries, and various theatre plays; one of which enjoyed a national U.K. tour. She has just had a paper published in the Theatre, Dance and Performance Training academic journal: ‘How theatres in the East Midlands are achieving impactful green training in the community.’ She is open to new script-writing, script-editing and dramaturg opportunities.
